A guide for starting community energy groups
In this new guide, we distilled a methodology from our five pilot projects to help citizens launch their own energy community projects in their neighbourhoods. It should not be seen as a blueprint but as a document that will drive you through the process of community energy engagement in renewable energy and energy savings projects.
The community energy methodology guide is set up in such a way that can be applied to any community energy project. It provides a structured and detailed oversight of all the activities involved in developing a project: from the inspiration phase to preparation, implementation and operation. We hope it will support communities to kick off their activities and give them the tools to engage people in their RES projects.
